Hello Hubert!

I got a lovely surprise when I got home from the studio last night. Hubert had arrived!
It felt like my birthday when I unwrapped him (and that's only a couple of weeks off so it's good timing)

I'm so very grateful to Jane Massey and her wonderful blog, String for giving me the opportunity to win my very own Hubert print. Now I just have to decide where best to show him off.....

I also loved the Elephant card that Jane sent with him.

Illustration Friday "Midsummer Night"

Quite a bit of my work as an illustrator is for educational publications, and over the years I have been particularly involved with drug and alcohol awareness resources for schools. This illustration is from one such publication.
So, my entry for Illustration Friday this week may be a bit tenuous, but it is deffinatly night time and it certainly could be midsummer, judging by the outfits.
